Guidelines For Parents

Please don’t disturb the staff or the Principal by calling them at their residence.

  • Students should arrive at school in time.
  • Students should arrive in the school before the assembly begins.
  • Gate will be closed after the 1st bell rings. Gate will reopen only after the assembly. Those who are late will not be allowed to go to the class room without the permission of the Principal.
  • No one can leave the school premises without the permission of the Principal.
  • No student shall go out of the class without class exit pass.
  • Parents / Guardians or visitors will not visit their wards or teachers in the class rooms without seeking the permission of the Principal. They can meet the Principal after fixing an appointment only.
  • Parents are requested not to send their wards to school premises after the completion of school timings.
  • A child may be allowed leave of absence in very special case by the Principal. The leave application should be sent to school on the same day or latest by the next day duly signed by the Parent. No leave application written by the child will be accepted. Long leave on any other ground shall not be allowed except under special circumstances and at the risk of parent.
  • If there is any legitimate complaint, the parents may meet the Principal personally or send a letter in a separate sealed envelope addressed to him/her.
  • Parents are required to co – operate with the school staff to help their ward’s progress by paying attention regularly and taking interest in their work. They should check the almanac everyday and note the home work and other instructions given.
  • Private tuition by school teacher is strictly banned. No request for this should be made.
  • A student who is not properly dressed in the complete school uniform will be excluded from the class room. Students are expected to wear uniform on all working days, on the day of PTM and for all school functions.
  • English should be spoken in the school premises for practice and fluency.
  • Once a student attends the school, he / she shall not be allowed on any short leave. In case of emergency, the child should be escorted by the parents with the written permission of the Principal.
  • Half day leave is not allowed under any circumstances.
  • Students who do not attend the classes on the reopening day after the holidays and those are absent for 5 days or more without any valid leave application except on medical ground will have their names struck off from the rolls.
  • Parents are requested not to send their children to school when they are having contagious disease and until they receive the clearance certificate from a doctor who has an authorised degree.
  • Student suffering from the following diseases must observe the prescribed period of recovery before returning to class.
  • Chicken Pox: Till complete falling of the scabs.
  • Conjunctivitis: Till the eyes become better.
  • Mumps: Till the swelling subsides.
  • Whooping cough: Completely subsides.
  • Measles: After the rash disappear.
  • Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience or causing troubles to others will lead to dismissal of a student.
  • Parents and guardians are earnestly requested to enforce regularity and discipline and to see that their wards prepare their lessons well and do their home tasks.
  • Bicycles should be kept in bicycle stand only.
  • Textbooks, stationery, bag, tiffin box etc. should bear the name and class of the owner. The school is not responsible for any loss of the student’s belongings.
  • It is not advisable to bring valuable articles, ornaments, wrist watch and Bands to school.
  • Amount will not be collected what so ever without the prior permission of the Principal.
  • For any kind of damage to school property, the concerned student /group of students / whole class are responsible and they have to bear the cost of damage. In such matters, Principal’s decision will be final.
  • No student shall loiter in the school premises and disturb other classes.
  • Parents are requested to help us in developing the sense of quality, brotherhood, and national integration among the students.
  • It is mandatory for students to have minimum 90% attendance to get appear for the final Examination. No child will be promoted, if falling short of minimum attendance.
  • During examination in case the student is interested to leave before the school hours, the parents must take responsibility of their ward and their safe movement. School authorities will not be responsible once student leaves the school premises.
  • No student should leave school without escort of Parent / Guardian during exam days.
  • Regular medical checkup of the students is being done in the school every year.
  • All the boys except the Sikh community boys should get their hair cut at regular intervals.
  • No shouting or whistling is allowed in the school premises or in the school bus.
  • Fire crackers / splashing colors during Diwali / Holi in the school are strictly forbidden.
  • Use of polythene bags and wrappers should be discouraged. Birthday students should not bring any item for distribution in plastic or polythene wrappers.
  • Parents are required to inform the school office if there is any change in their residential address.
  • Parent’s attention is drawn to the fact that criticism of the teacher or school in presence of child should be avoided because it causes the students to lose respect for their teachers and also retards his / her progress.
  • The students should not leave school before the end of the term.
  • Those who attend the classes in the month of April shall pay 1st installment of the fee.

In readmission cases, the admission is depending on the availability and also admission fee has to be paid as per procedure.

Parent Teacher Meeting

  • Harmonious development of the child into a responsible, patriotic and truthful citizen is the common goal of parents and teachers. Parents Teachers Meeting play a vital role in the achievement of this goal. To achieve this school organizes P.T.M. on last working day of the month from 9.00 a.m. To 12.00 p.m. Parents are requested to maintain the timings strictly.
  •  All the parents are requested to attend the PTM without fail. On last working day of the month, they can interact with the teachers teaching different subjects regarding their wards performance.
